Arjun Bedi leads the Diamond Client Leadership Council, Accenture’s global strategic portfolio of clients. The portfolio is comprised of nearly 300 of Accenture’s largest and most strategic clients across industries and represents a significant portion of Accenture’s global revenues. Arjun is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Arjun has more than 30 years of experience in the life sciences, biotech, health and products industries. He leads two of Accenture’s largest global strategic client relationships within life sciences in addition to leading the Diamond Client Leadership Council.
Throughout his career, Arjun has made his mark helping leading healthcare companies achieve sustained out-performance. He has successfully created new business segments and helmed significant P&L segments at Accenture, growing and tripling the R&D life sciences business, creating a now-thriving bio-tech segment and growing both relationships and CEO relevance in the life sciences sector. He has also led countless successful transformation programs to improve shareholder value, working as a trusted C-suite advisor to 10 leading Fortune Top 15 health and life sciences companies.
Arjun is a seasoned leader whose expertise spans both strategy and execution. His functional expertise includes R&D, commercial, supply chain, digital/IT, finance, post-merger integration and shared services. Most recently, Arjun has helped clients focus on innovative approaches leveraging digital technologies, including Cloud, Data, Analytics and AI, to create transformational opportunities for revenue uplift and optimized operations.
Arjun is inspired by the power of collaboration. Now in its tenth year, he founded, and currently co-chairs, Accenture’s Health & Life Sciences CEO and Board Forum, which brings together CEO’s for an annual summit for important conversations on industry challenges, strategies and approaches for shared success.
Arjun is deeply inspired and motivated by three social causes: inclusion and diversity, health equity and creating opportunities for disadvantaged children. He is an active sponsor of Accenture’s next generation talent, I&D and mentoring programs, and he also serves on the board of HealthRight, an Innovative NGO focused on providing greater health equity globally. Beyond that, he is dedicated to supporting a family foundation that works to help disadvantaged children in India.
Arjun joined Accenture in 1989 and was named partner in 2000. He earned a bachelor’s degree (honors) in economics from Delhi University in India and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Temple University’s, Fox School of Business.
